The rock climbing spot of Saint Moirans, Drome
The rock climbing site of Saint-Moirans is an ideal spot for beginers and experts who want to practice outdoor rock climbling. Oriented to the south, at the foot of the Trois Becs Moutain, this site allows climbers and their family and friends to take advantage of the picnic area and a relatively flat ground where children can play, close to the brook.
Fans of climbs will find 74 routes ranging from 4 to 7c+ on limestone walls of 10 to 70 meters, consisting mainly of slabs.
You can access to the site from a path that leads to the parking place located in front of the slabs of the Baume. Once you get out of the Gorges St. Moirans, it's on your right when you are coming from Saillans.
